Vinay Raj Tewari

Mr.Vinay Raj Tewari is a veteran journalist with almost 40 years of experience in both print and electronic media.Out of this ,17 years ,he spent working in the North East. He did his schooling from Government Inter College ,Allahabad and did B.A.,LL.B from Allahabad University.He completed Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism and Masscom from IGNOU. Mr.Vinay Raj Tewari started his career in journalism from Hindi Daily 'Janavarta",published from Varanasi ,U.P. in November 1979 as a Trainee Sub-Editor and then joined the All India Radio News as Staff Reporter in August 1981.Later on he was posted in various capacities in All India Radio News and Doordarshan News in Dhanbad,(Jharkhand) ,Patna(Bihar),Gangtok(Sikkim) and Aizawl(Mizoram).He also received the Akashvani Annual Award 2011 for reporting the Sikkim's September 2011 devastating earthquake. Mr.Tewari ,who was an Indian Information Service officer,retired as Deputy Director from Press Information Bureau,Lucknow in June 2019.Since then ,he has settled down in Lucknow and remains busy with journalistic writing. Mr.Vinay Raj Tewari has two English to Hindi translation works to his credit-Road to Freedom by Sulabh International's Dr.Bindeshwar Pathak and Origin and Development of Bihar Legislature by former Bihar Assembly Speaker Dr.Radhanandan Jha."Swapnlok Sa Sikkim " is the first original work of Mr.Tewari while "Aaiye Sikkim Chalein " is the second one.
