Sunita Singh

Sunita Singh hails from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. Presently She is working as Assistant Chief Electoral Officer, Uttar Pradesh. She is post-graduate in economics from Banaras Hindu University. She loves to write poetry and stories in Hindi and English, ghazals, nazm, doha, geet, navgeet etc. Till date, her 15 books have been published till now in both languages Hindi and English. She has been awarded with many prestigious awards including Sumitranandan Pant Puraskar for long time contribution to Poetry by Uttar Pradesh Karmchari Sahitya Sansthan, Soor Puraskar for children’s literature by Uttar Pradesh Hindi Sansthan, Sahitya Praikrama Samman by Akhil Bhartiya Sahitya Parishad, Indian Woman Achiever Awards and Indian Woman Rising Star Award,2021 (literature category) by Asian Literary Society, WEAA Woman Achiever Award, 2020, Real Super Woman Award, 2020, Tejaswini Woman of India Award, 2020 etc. She has also won many poetic and story contests.
