R. CLEMENT ILANGO

I was born in Tirunelveli , Tamil Nadu , in 1945 . After serving in the Indian Administrative Service I emigrated to Australia . I am now an Australian citizen ,This is my third novel , the other two being Happiness is a Butterfly and She Wore Jasmines,I have two sons both medical doctors practising in Melbourne and seven grandkids .,Reading , writing and travelling are my hobbies. I have been to 66 countries so far . I listen to film songs a lot , mostly from Tamil and Hindi films .,I have had the unique privilege of a personal audience with St Pope John Paul II at the Vatican and the Mother of Shri Aurobindo Ashram , Pondicherry . I am also a proud recipient of National Citizen’s Award presented to me by the President of India.
