Dr. Syed Nisar Karim

Dr. Syed Nisar Karim (M.A., M.Phil, SET, Ph.D) is working as the Head of the English Department in Azad Mahavidyalaya, Ausa Dist. Latur Maharashtra. He has been teaching English literature to the undergraduate and postgraduate students in his college since 1997. His area of interest is Indian Writing in English and English Criticism. He is highly interested in the novels and autobiographies written by Indian writers. He is also performing his duty as a research supervisor in Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University Nanded. One of his research scholars has been awarded PhD under his supervision. He has published a large number of research papers in scholarly journals. He has developed three contents in the textbooks prescribed by the Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University Nanded. Dr. Syed Nisar Karim has participated in a large number of national and international seminars and conferences. He has also organised a large number of national level seminars and conferences in his college. A full time academician, he has devoted himself to his college as the IQAC Coordinator since 2005
