Dr. Sunil Bhat

Dr. Sunil Bhat completed his graduation in Mechanical Engineering from NIT, Srinagar in 1988, M.E. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Pune in 1996 and Ph.D.from IIT, Bombay in 2008. A rank holder throughout the academic career and a GATE scholar, he has also undertaken one year Mechanical Engineering Fellowship Course sponsored by DRDO, India in 1991. Prior to his doctorate, he worked as defence scientist in DRDO for 15 years. Off late, he worked as Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department of RV Institute of Technology and Management, Bangalore. He has also served educational institutes namely VIT, Vellore and Jain University, Bangalore for eight years. He has published more than 80 papers in journals and conference proceedings of repute. He has, as PI, successfully completed the DST, India project on fatigue and fracture studies on Fiber metal laminate (Glare). He has guided several M. Tech. and Ph.D. scholars in their research work
