Dr. Shanker Suwan Singh

Dr. Shanker Suwan Singh is currently working as Assistant Professor in Agriculture University (SHUATS). He holds a Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology. He did M.Tech. From the branch of Agricultural Process and Food Engineering (Agriculture Engineering). He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Food Technology. After completing his graduation in Food Technology, he started his career as a Production Executive at Modern Food Industries (India) Limited, Kanpur. He then joined Hindustan Uni Lever Limited, Uppal, (Andhra Pradesh) as Production Executive. After that he started his teaching career at Sharad Chandra Ji Pawar College of Food Technology, Chiplun (Talluka), District-Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. He has published 70 international/national research papers. He has attended more than 80 seminars/workshops. His more than 5000 editorial columns and blogs have been published in national daily Hindi/English newspapers/magazines and national news portals. He received Young Scientist Award - 2012 and Dr. Bengali Baboo Medal - 2016 from Bioved Research Institute Prayagraj. He received Best Paper Award - 2017 from National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal (Haryana). He has also received the Distinguished Service Award - 2018 from Allahabad State University. He did Received Best Teacher Award - 2019 from Institute of Scholars (InSc) Bangalore. He has also been awarded the best media award "Hindi Seva Samman" - 2021. He is also one of the personalities to be honored with the media's famous literary award "Mahamana Rashtra Samaj - 2022". He has also received several awards related to cultural activity in the field of freelance writer/columnist and thinker. He has received more than 8000 citations. His experience of writing in various newspapers/magazines is 22 years. Prior to this, two of his famous books "Alekhon se Nikalti Raahein" and "The Book of Cheese" have been published.
