DR. JINTU BALAKRISHNAN

Currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral Pathology and Microbiology, Sri Rajiv Gandhi College of Dental Sciences and Hospital, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Her area of interest is diagnostic histopathology of oral lesions. She has pursued her BDS from A J Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital, Mangalore, Karnataka in 2011and MDS from Sri Rajiv Gandhi College of Dental Sciences and Hospital, Bengaluru, Karnataka in 2018. She has won the Best Scientific Poster Presentation in 18th International Association of Oral Pathologists Conference and 25th Indian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathologists Conference for her study on micronuclei using fluorescent microscope. She has published many articles in International and National journals. She has authored and published her first book titled “Granular Cell Lesions” in November 2022.
