Dr Devi S Nair

Dr Devi S Nair BAMS MD is a post graduate in Roga Nidana and started her career as a tutor in Government Ayurveda College Trivandrum. Later she has worked as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor in various colleges across the country. Currently she is working as HOD and Associate Professor Roga Nidana department in Ayurveda College, Coimbatore. She completed her graduation from Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Ayurveda College, Chennai and post graduation from Sri Dharmastala Manjunatheshwara Ayurveda College, Hassan Karnataka. She is highly innovative in depicting the subject matter to the students promoting a stimulating learning environment. She has done research on Ayurvedic diagnostic methods like Taila bindhu mutra pareeksha, quantification of mutra avilata in Prameha, Vastra Ranjana pareeksha in streeroga. She has presented many papers and posters and also served as jury and resource person in National and International seminars. She is working on developing innovative ideas in Ayurveda education field giving more importance to clinical utility of Roga Nidana concepts in Ayurveda.
