Dr. Akshit Batra is an extremely responsible, kind, and empathetic Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with outstanding diagnostic and surgical capabilities and clinical expertise fostering patients' well- being, and has conducted excellent research and received great exposure as well. A strong interest in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery led to the acquisition of a master's degree in the field from the renowned Yenepoya Dental College and Hospital in Mangalore, Karnataka, following graduation from the famed Dr. D.Y. Patil Dental College and Hospital in Pune, Maharashtra. Following a Senior Residency in the Department of Neuro and Spine Surgery at Yenepoya Medical College and Hospital in Mangalore, Karnataka, and a keen interest in Maxillofacial Trauma and Reconstruction, Dr. Akshit is presently pursuing a fellowship in Maxillofacial Trauma at the government-run, Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Trauma and Orthopaedics in Bangalore, Karnataka.
