Dr. Raju Roy

Dr Raju Roy is working as Deputy Director in the Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), University of North Bengal, Siliguri, West Bengal (INDIA). He is BSc (Honours in Anthropology) from Assam University, Silchar, Assam. Dr Roy has completed his Post Graduation Diploma in Marketing Management (PGDMM) from Assam University and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi. He has passed the UGC NET Examination in 2013 and completed his PhD Degree from Assam University under the competent supervision of Dr Debomalya Ghose, Associate Professor in the Department of Business Administration, Assam University, Silchar. He has twenty-four years of work experience in Administration, HR and operations. His skill and expertise are in Quality Management System (ISO 9001), Environmental Management System (ISO 14001), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), Food Safety Management System (ISO 22000) etc. He is interested in Management Consultancy and Management System Accreditation/ Certification. He worked in various industries/ sectors like logistics, healthcare and education. He has authored two books and published many papers in peer-reviewed and UGC Care national and international journals. He lives in Siliguri with his wife and daughter. Visit him at
